Thirty players travelled to Brussels, as both the girls' and boys' seniors played in the D1 IAAS international tournament.

The football was played across three locations; the girls played all their games at Site 3. With both teams lacking training together beforehand, there was a clear effect on the chemistry, as puzzle pieces representing each of their individual skills had not yet been put together. After the first day, the girls’ team returned to the hotel with one victory in hand, compared to the abysmal 0 wins from the boys' team.

With the tournament now split into a winners and losers group, and both teams in the latter, everyone knew that day two was all about survival, and which team had the heart and determination to stay in the highest division. Morning of the second day, the boys claimed their first win of the tournament after a much more convincing performance against the British School of the Netherlands. This was followed in the afternoon by a second win against the International School of Paris, securing their spot in the top division for next year's tournament and saving face after the far-from-expected first day.

On the second site, the girls' team lost their first game, forcing them to play a relegation game to close out the tournament. After multiple games played together, the girls managed to put themselves together and win their last game, hopefully saving their place in next year's tournament. After a long two days, both teams were in joyful moods as they returned to Geneva. Many lessons were learnt from the experience, and then all focus was on the upcoming boys' semi-final against LGB.
